Maria Eletta Baroni is an Italian graphic designer and visual communication artist, graduated from ISIA Urbino. She works in visual identity, illustration, editorial design, and poster design, often exploring social, environmental, and human rights themes.
Her posters have been exhibited in major international cultural centers, including Suzhou, Istanbul, Prishtina, Tirana, Bethlehem, Sofia, Vienna, Dubai, Lima, Mexico City, Prague, León, Surakarta, and Bogotá. She has been selected for leading festivals and biennials such as the Emirates International Poster Festival (Dubai), the International Poster Biennial Mexico, the Francisco Mantecón Biennial (Vigo), the 11th International Triennial of Stage Poster (Sofia), Graphic Stories Cyprus, ARTtention Prague, the Luga Poster Biennale, VIDAK ESG Seoul, the Intercontinental Bienal (Colombia), Poster4Peace (Vienna), and the Calanca Biennale (Switzerland).
She received the Bronze Conch Award at IOAF 2025 for her poster A Drop in the Ocean, as well as an IOAF recognition in 2024 for her contribution to marine conservation. Her work has also supported international initiatives, including Zero Corruption (Kyiv and Chernobyl). From 2016 to 2022, she curated the visual communication for the National Congress of AIF, the Italian Association for Physics Education. She has been teaching graphic design since 2001 and lives and works in Italy.
